Mobiera co-founds the Verana Foundation

Mobiera is a founding member of the Verana Foundation, the non-profit steward of the open trust layer, together with 2060 OÜ and Orchestrating Identity.

Mobiera is a founding member of the Verana Foundation, with 2060 OÜ and Orchestrating Identity.

The Foundation is the non-profit steward of the open trust layer: it owns the Verifiable Trust and Verifiable Public Registry specifications, stewards the open-source software under Apache 2.0, and grows the ecosystem around it. It is in formation, stewarded by 2060 OÜ. The live network is governed and secured by a separate body, the Verana Council.

Mobiera contributes to the Foundation's Specification working group and its Reference Implementation working group, and brings telecom channels, SMS, SIM toolkit and phone-number verification, into the trust layer.
